ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Learners must possess a valid BOSIET/FOET/HUET/T-BOSIET/T-FOET/T-HUET (or Industry agreed equivalent) certificate prior to attending the OPITO Dry CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training programme.

AIM

The Dry CA-EBS Initial Deployment training programme provides the learner with the knowledge and understanding of the hazards and properties of CA-EBS and appropriate emergency response actions to take should the requirement for emergency use arise.

OBJECTIVES​

  1. This programme has been developed to address initial equipment introduction training requirements only and is designed to be delivered in a ‘dry’ training environment.

ACHIEVEMENT OF CERTIFICATION

To achieve the Training the learner will need to complete 1 mandatory unit, Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment Training.
