AIM
This training programme is designed to meet the offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel new (or returning) to the offshore oil and gas industry in a tropical environment.
OBJECTIVES
This training provides learners with the opportunity to practice and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practice during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore.
The objectives of the T-HUET Training are that learners will be able to:

Demonstrate, in a simulated environment, that they can use the safety equipment, and follow procedures in preparing for, and during helicopter emergencies – with particular focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching

Demonstrate sea survival techniques
ACHIEVEMENT OF CERTIFICATION
To achieve the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) Training the learner will need to complete one mandatory unit, Helicopter Safety and Escape – Tropical.
